Backlit Film

Backlit films are normally used for seasonal campaigns and recurring events such as fashion,
public and school holidays and what’s on this month. They are also used for centre directories
as they provide easy reading characteristics as a result of being illuminated.

More Information about Backlit Film

Occasionally called duratran, backlit film is a heat resistant media that sits behind clear acrylic in light-boxes. As the film is specifically made for this purpose it has excellent illumination characteristics, which when combined with a high quality print, as the effect of an an illuminated poster rather than a standard light box.

That being said, as it is a film it does not have the longevity of a print made directly onto acrylic.
Where the chance of moisture or damp may enter the light box, ensure to request that the backlit film be laminated.
