Fabric

Fabric flags are used in high wind areas where heavy weight thick banner material results in
too higher strain on the supporting poles/posts. This makes them ideal for hanging on their
own or en-mass such as lining CBD streets, major retail entrance ways, or hung on temporary
construction fences to provide a teaser of what is to come.

More Information about Fabric

When printed, Fabric is semi-transparent which means that the printed side of the fabric has full color print whilst the rear of the fabric has a ‘weaker’ semi-transparent image. Given that fabric is semi-transparent is not ideal for prints that contain font – simply because when viewed from behind the text is backward. This issue can be addressed by sewing two flags together and applying a block-out layer in the centre however the weight of these may outweigh the benefit of this approach.

This makes flags ideal when the view from behind is not as crucial, and where letters / words are not a key part of the graphic.
